Crittco Cable & Fiber is just south of the heart of Jonesboro with approximately 8,000 square feet of shop space plus storage units and a covered wash bay. It is equipped with a fleet of boring rigs, bucket trucks, backhoes, mini excavators, plows, vacuum excavators, bulldozers, service trucks, low boys, tuggers, reel trailers, dump trucks and a duct washing machine. It also has all necessary safety equipment, such as trench boxes, rock tubs, blowers, confined space equipment and more.

DIRECTIONAL DRILLING

Directional drilling has always been the cornerstone of what we do. We own six drill rigs: the smallest being 7 X 11, perfect for urban and condensed settings, and the largest being 24 X 40, which gives us the ability to handle a wide variety of terrain and soil conditions. We have experience in making bores up to 28 inches and are equipped to pull back single steel or multiple poly pipes in almost any configuration. Under the right conditions, we are also capable of doing on/grade gravity sewer boring.

CABLE SPLICING

We are equipped and experienced in splicing both copper and fiber optic cables ranging from a single service drop to large-count splicing in buried, underground and aerial applications. We splice both single and ribbon fiber cables. We are also trained and experienced in troubleshooting and testing, including OTDR and bi-directional.

PLOWING

We own multiple cable plows that give us the ability to plow anything from a service drop or up to two-inch HDPE in single and multiple pipe configurations. We are also capable of plowing cable or duct two inches or less.

PULLING AND TUGGING

We can pull and tug anything from 1800 pair copper cable to fiber. Our tuggers and associated pulling equipment give us the ability to handle all pulling requirements from small fiber and air pipe to the largest copper cables and innerducts.

TRENCHING AND EXCAVATING

We own trenching machines up to a 200-series excavator that allows us to trench in most any conditions, including breaking rock. We also own all necessary trenching equipment, such as trench boxes, that allow us to be versatile in any situation.

LOCATING UTILITIES

Our wide variety of locating equipment allow us to locate empty ducts and most all buried utilities. Our team is trained and experienced in a wide variety of locating scenarios.

AERIAL

We have dedicated aerial crews and a wide range of equipment and knowledge that allow us to place aerial fiber and copper in many environments. We can also set poles in a variety of environments and conditions.

DUCT WASHING

We own a jetting machine and are experienced in washing underground conduit and ducts.

FIBER BLOWING

Our fiber blowing equipment lets us place fiber in almost any environment from single fiber drops in MDU applications to microfiber to large-count fiber cables. We also have power reel trailers to assist in fiber blowing.
